Amnesty International UK is an independent organisation committed to the achievement of every person enjoying his or her human rights. Amnesty is a global movement of over 7 million members, supporters and activists across the world standing up for human rights. They achieve their mission through research and action focused on preventing and ending human rights abuses.

As part of the Step Up Migrant Women coalition, in 2019 SFC worked with Amnesty UK, LAWRS, Liberty, and EVAW to advocate for a more inclusive and effective Domestic Abuse Bill. In May 2019, the coalition of women’s and human rights NGOs published a Joint Briefing, No Migrant Women Left Behind, advocating for protections for migrant women victims of domestic abuse.
